Funding

The Vision of the group delivery of world-class eye-care through cutting edge research and integration into education is a non-commercial, non-profit initiative. This project provides an opportunity for corporates, institutions and banks to participate in this noble cause.

Sankara Nethralaya has an excellent tract record of attracting significant funds for research in the past.

The new Research Center would be funded by a combination of a term loan and donations.

Donations can be given to the Vision Research Foundation or the Medical Research Foundation in the form of Cheque, Cash or Demand Draft. On receiving a cheque or Demand Draft a receipt would be sent to the donor.

Tax Deductions

Individual and corporate donors can also claim tax deductions on the donation amount under the following sections. The following table indicates tax deductions which can be availed if donations are made to the Vision Research Foundation (VRF) or the Medical Research Foundation (MRF)
